I have had continuing knee pain after surgery for many months and decided to try acupuncture. Dr. Ding had been recommended to me, so I went in for a visit expecting only the best results. With no physical benefit (maybe even more pain) after the first visit, I would have returned to give it another chance except for his unethical business practices. After the acupunture procedure, Dr. Ding led me into his office, proceeded to take the insoles out of my shoes and put new insoles into them. Then he handed me a bottle of oil which he claimed would cure almost anything (snake oil came to mind) and sent me to his outside office where they proceeded to charge me an extra $50 for those two items. I was in shock and should have refused to pay, but didn't. Dr. Ding NEVER asked me if I could afford or wanted these extra expensive items but should have. I consider his behavior very unethical and inappropriate. His office feels much more like a sales office than a healing place. I will NOT being returning to him, needless to say.
