When I reached 30 weeks of pregnancy, the OB (Mako Shimoda of Boulder Women's care) said I'd have to get the baby turned unless I wanted to risk a cesarean. She mentioned an acupuncturist could treat for this, so I went to see Stephanie. When the second needle went in, my baby started rocking and rolling slowly, and continued to do so for hours. When I woke the next morning, he was in perfect position and remained that way until delivery 11 weeks later. As an aside, he was a week "late", so I went back to Stephanie to give him a little motivation to get moving. Labor began that night. Stephanie studied acupuncture in China and it shows. She is also delightful and professional.
