- I once was blind, but now I see---thanks to Dr. Cummings - - J. Johnston - 7/28/2017 - comment
Poked my eye with a pine branch early in the morning. Was unable to see after that accident. Instead of heading to the ER I choose to visit Woodland Vision Source instead. Was immediately seen and Dr. Cummings performed a quick in house surgery on the eye. It was painless. Placed a contact type of bandage on the eye and said to take it easy over the weekend. When he removed the "contact" on Monday my sight was back! What a relief! You don't appreciate your eyes till you lose your sight. Dr. Cummings gave me my sight back again. I am extremely grateful --- and now a big proponent of safety glasses! His staff went out of their way to help minimize my out of pocket costs, They called several local pharmacies to see if they stocked the necessary eye drops to use over the weekend so I wouldn't have to drive all over town. They even gave me coupons to lower the cost of the medicine. Everyone was professional, helpful and courteous. This IS the eye doctor to visit here in Woodland Park!
