I am fully aware of the cancelation policy set it place that every patient has to sign. As a navy spouse I am a single mom 75% of the time of 2 young kids. When I have physical therapy scheduled 3 days a week there have have been a few times this past month both my kids were sick with the flu so I had to call the morning of my appointments to cancel. I got 2 bills in the mail total of $100 because I didn't give 24 hour cancel notice. How is that possible when my kids come down with an illness right before my scheduled appointment?!?? I'm an very upset that there is no leeway for these situations and you can't possibly tell me those appointment slots were not filled. I will be reporting physical therapy works to the BBB for their rude front desk staff. I indeed NEEDED to be at my appointments because of my neck issues so I NEVER canceled appointments just because.
