My parents brought me to his office when I was 12 years old, I had bunions and foot pain. He performed a double bunionectomy and put me in a wheel chair for the summer. At the first post op appointment I think he realized he had messed up and was screaming at my Mom. She no longer would take me to the appointments and made my Dad deal with him. Since then I've had one other surgery to attempt to fix what he caused by his botched procedure. I've been to specialists all over the United States. The damage he caused plagues me to this day. I have feet and leg pain 24 hours a day. I wear special shoes and braces. I'm going to get yet another opinion today to see what can be done. So far the option seems to be another surgery to fuse the joints he cut apart, which will mean 1 year recovery with the first 6 months on crutches. Not the easiest task, I live on a farm, and have 2 kids. Yes, I can say with confidence that Dr Cherian Matthew wrecked my feet, and my life.
