I went in to see the doctor and he was out sick. I saw the new PA named Christy I think. She asked how I was doing on my medications and told her fine. She asked a few questions because she does not know me. Then, she texts the doctor, then talks on the phone with him. She proceeds to write two of my regular medications. Then she writes a prescription for ten tablets of another medicine that I had already tried to get me off of my medication. I told her what I had taken in the past with no success. She hands me the prescriptions but does not give me a replacement medication for the one that she did not want me to take which I had been on for almost a year. The past prescriptions were written by another PA there who left to pursue employment elsewhere. I asked why she was taking me off of something that was helping me. Her only response was she didn't want me to die. I know many people who take this medicine and are doing fine. I called back and asked if she was going to write me a new prescription for panic attacks. The office manager relayed the message from her that she had written all that she was going to write. I was left without anything to take for panic attacks. This was negligent and just poor medical treatment. I had to get me regualar doctor to write a prescription until I could get in to see someone else at a mental health center. I have been going there for years but now I do not want to go back.
