After years of "trouble," my son finally agreed to talk with a professional. Dr. Welsh was the first therapist my son agreed to see. He went with a positive attitude & vowed to tell the truth. Unfortunately, Dr. Welsh told his (VERY CONTROLLING) father what was discussed in their therapy session. MY SON IS 18 YEARS OLD! HE DID NOT SIGN A HIPPA FORM. Is this not unethical? HER NEGLIGENT ACTION HAS MADE MY SON NOT TRUST THERAPISTS AT ALL. THIS WAS HIS ONE & ONLY EXPERIENCE. MY SON NEEDS THERAPY VERY MUCH! THIS WOMAN, THROUGH UNETHICAL MEDICAL PRACTICES, HAS QUITE POSSIBLY CHANGED MY CHILD'S CHANCES OF LEARNING TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE. Dr. Welsh sees my son's step-mother & has seen my son's father on occasion...may be why she felt comfortable sharing my son's therapy session notes with them. Still, WRONG. Still, UNETHICAL. Still, ILLEGAL MEDICAL PRACTICE. Still, HAS RUINED MY SON FROM ATTENDING ANY FOLLOW-UP THERAPY SESSIONS WITH ANY THERAPIST ANYWHERE!
