Dr. Hoffer is not only a terrible doctor, she is highly unethical. She stares out the window while you talk to her, clearly daydreaming, as evidenced by the long, awkward periods of silence before she offers any feedback. When she does speak, she offers shallow, useless information. She constantly shifts in her chair, like a distracted child, often slouching with her legs spread. If you miss an appointment, she will charge you $200, even if you would have paid only a $30 co-pay had you attended. Since her contracted insurance rates are most certainly well below $200, she therefore attempts to profit off her patients who cancel appointments.
